People, the environment and safety are at the heart of what we do.
When you work with us, you’re working with people who are invested in your business and your project. When asbestos, toxic mould and contaminated land pose serious health risks to the people around you, you want the team committed to you and your environment.
For over twenty years, MBC has been helping businesses manage and protect their environments. Our team’s combined experience around containing and removing hazardous substances means we have the skills and expertise to safely handle your next project.
MBC Environmental Solutions is a one-stop-shop, keeping your project moving without unwelcome surprises. Why choose us to be your consultant and contractor? Even as we’re carrying out a survey, our experienced team is already thinking about a removal plan, putting you one step ahead.
If you’re managing a major building or renovation project around Christchurch or Canterbury, you already have enough on your plate. Let MBC Environmental Solutions take care of your next environmental project. Check out some of our projects to find out more.

Health & safety
Health & safety is central to everything we do. Over 200 people each year die from asbestos exposure at work. Through our planning, processes, and education programmes, we are actively working to bring that number down.
When you work with us, you know that you’re working with people that are committed to walking the walk, not just talking the talk. We are always learning and improving to keep your people, our team, and the wider community safe and well.
Don’t take our word for it! We are regularly audited by Telarc, New Zealand’s most recognised and longest established certification body. We are immensely proud that our health & safety management system has been certified to ISO 45001, the premier international standard.
As members of the All-of-Government Construction Consultancy Services Panel, we are an approved supplier to work on government projects. Having been through a robust pre-approval process, engaging us is easy.
